Profit Geyser Review

Earlier this year I purchased an internet marketing course called Profit-Geyser.  I’ve been using it for a few months now and feel that I’ve seen enough of it to be able to write an honest review.

What is Profit Geyser?

Profit Geyser is an online training course for people interested in learning more about internet marketing.  If you’re a beginner or at an intermediate level, Profit Geyser could be suitable for you.  It’s been produced by an entrepreneur called Mark Davis.

The training is primarily video based and there are over 30 videos online for you to watch.  Some of the videos are short introductions to sections of training, while others go for over an hour.  Most of the videos have an accompanying pdf file that provides a high level summary of what Mark says.

How Is Profit Geyser Structured?

The videos are in three sections:

  1. Make fast cash
  2. Steady income
  3. Big payday

The first section looks at ideas to start making money quickly.  This is suitable for someone who wants to start making some smaller amounts of money.  Some of the ideas won’t appeal to everyone, but that’s ok.  The idea is that you learn about a bunch of different methods and then pick the ones you feel most enthused about.

Within this section is a video on Twitter, which is worth the price of the training alone.  It gave me so many good ideas on how to use Twitter more effectively, and it’s helped me grow my Twitter followers in a sustainable manner.

The next section is all about Steady Income. He’s got some great ideas about affiliate marketing, Ebay, freelancing and a bunch of other methods.  The idea of this section of videos is to help you learn more about different types of internet marketing with the goal to being able to build a steady income.

The final section is the Big Payday.  In this section Mark builds on the content he’s taught in the first two sections and looks at how you can build your own products, and sell them to others.

Will I already know about the stuff in Profit Geyser?

If you’re an advanced internet marketer, you’ll probably already know about a lot of the concepts Mark teaches.  But you’ll probably learn a few new things if you watch the videos.

If you’re a beginner or at an intermediate stage, I think you’ll get a lot of value out of it.

I haven’t watched all of it yet.  My approach has been to watch a video and then spend time working out how I can implement the ideas I’ve learnt.

There’s almost 18 hours of video to watch! I already know some of the stuff he talks about and some of the videos I’ve watched have got ideas that I’m not interested in.  But that’s ok! I didn’t buy the product thinking it would all be relevant.

The important thing is that I’ve got enough ideas out of Profit Geyser that I’ve been able to implement that have made me enough money to cover the cost of the course.  I’m sure that once I’ve finished I’ll have made enough money to cover the cost many times over.

The downside of Profit Geyser

There’s a few things about Profit Geyser to be aware of.

Firstly, you can’t download any of the videos – you have to watch them online.  I’d prefer to be able to download them so I can watch them on my iPhone when I’m at work or traveling.

Secondly, some of the sites that he talks about are no longer in existence.  This isn’t a big issue as he spends most of his time talking about the strategy behind concepts and then introduces the sites as a means to facilitate the strategy.  The Twitter module is a great example – a couple of the sites he recommended had changed and were no longer current.  Mark actually updated the video to reflect this, but the main thing is that you knew the strategy of what he was teaching.  If one site shut down it was easy to find another one that would do what you needed it to do.

There’s a lot of information.  I mentioned earlier my approach was to watch individual videos and then take time to work out how to implement the ideas.  I don’t know that having lots of information is necessarily a problem?

Finally, it won’t teach some concepts in minute detail.  Mark provides a great overview of the main ways to make money online, and he provides enough detail to get you started.  I think Profit Geyser is a great starting point for people.  If you decide that PPC advertising is the way to go as a result of Mark’s training, then go out and find some specific courses on that topic.

Summary of Profit Geyser

So, I’ve used it for a few months, what do I think?

I think it represents great value for money for people who want to learn more about internet marketing.  You won’t get rich overnight with his teachings – that’s not the point of the training.  You will learn a lot about ways to make money on the internet, and you’ll save yourself a lot of time and money, because you won’t make as many mistakes as you would if you were starting from scratch.

At the time of writing, the lifetime membership option was only $77.  Have a look at the site and sign up for his free behind the scenes guide.  Click here to go to the Profit Geyser site.

Like most internet marketing courses, Profit Geyser comes with a money-back guarantee so you can try it out.
